Meet Mr. Young
I grew up in Burley, Idaho and graduated from Burley High in 1990. During my High School years I participated in the Band playing the clarinet and competed as a sprinter on the track team. I went to Ricks College (now BYU-I) where I met my wife, Heidi, who also plays the clarinet. We were married in 1994. We then transferred to Boise State University graduating in 1998. That year, I accepted a position with the Mountain Home School District teaching Earth Science. In 2004, I completed a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis on Integrating Technology in the Classroom through Walden University. Since 1999, I have coached Junior High Cross Country and Junior High and High School Track. Today, my wife and I have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. Some activities I enjoy doing include playing ping pong, racquetball, and horseshoes, and I also enjoy composing music.
